Radio personality Paul Ogata on a roll

Wedded bliss: Things are looking up for Paul Ogata, the KDDM-FM morning jock: He's getting married tomorrow to Kris Perreida, a reservations manager at Roberts Hawai'i. And he's stoked about the just-out Arbitron radio ratings, which put him and partner "Kid Leo" Baldwin at No. 7 in morning drive (a dramatic rise from No. 15). Despite concerns from the bride-to-be, Ogata, a stand-up comic when he's not on radio, intends to include in his California honeymoon a couple of shows with comedian Howie Mandel, who performed here last month.
After reading here about Jackie Bay's marriage to George Cadinha on Jan. 5 (she's the sales and marketing director for the Don Ho Show, he's a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant), which included a gigantic celebration at the Hilton Hawaiian Village), Ogata opines that his planned party at the Sheraton Waikiki will pale in comparison. "It'll feel like eloping out of the window with a ladder" ...
It pays to have show-biz pals, newlyweds Kalani Hicks and Mary Chesnut have discovered.
