Canoe classes offered for all levels

Twogood Kayaks Hawai'i is offering half-day paddling classes for all levels of canoe enthusiasts.

The classes are:

• Sea skills: For the intermediate paddler. The class will review strokes, entering and exiting wave zones and currents.

The class will be Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and will cost $95 or $80, with your own boat.

• Cowabunga: This class will cover surfing skills, including the skill and judgment necessary on the ocean.

The four-hour class will be Feb. 9 and will cost $70, or $55 with own boat.
