FUN HOUSE
13-year-old offers his insight into bin Laden

By Barbara Barnaby, Honolulu

After the tragic events of Sept. 11, I sat down and spoke to my sons about these horrific actions and tried to answer any questions that I could. I mentioned to my 13-year-old, Tim, that I had heard that Osama bin Laden was the 17th of 52 children.

Tim's eyes grew wide and, in a somber tone, he said, "I can see someone didn't get enough hugs as a child."
