St. Louis stops Punahou in basketball

Jason Rivers scored 19 points to lead sixth-ranked St. Louis to a 49-37 victory over No. 4 Punahou in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball game last night at Punahou.
St. Louis led 24-16 at halftime and increased its lead to 38-22 after three quarters.

Bobby Webster scored a game high 18 points, and Bobby Nash and Derrick Low added 13 each as top-ranked and undefeated Iolani dominated Maryknoll, 98-39, last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball game at Damien gym.

Webster hit four 3-pointers.

Sean Ortiz had 16, including four 3-pointers, for Maryknoll.
