Events to watch

TODAY

  • Boys basketball: No. 1-ranked Iolani (8-0) can clinch a tie for first place in ILH with victory at Punahou (6-2), 6:30 p.m.
  • Boys soccer: Kamehameha and Iolani play off for the ILH championship and state tournament berth at Kapi'olani Park field No. 1, 4 p.m. ... OIA Tournament semifinals at Mililani with Moanalua vs. Kaiser, 5:15 p.m. and Mililani vs. Castle, 7 p.m. ... Baldwin can win its fourth Maui championship in five years with a victory at King Kekaulike, 4:30 p.m. If the Bears tie or lose, Seabury Hall could take the title with a victory at Lahainaluna, also at 4:30.

TOMORROW

  • Boys basketball: Mililani (8-0) can clinch OIA West championship at home against Leilehua (6-2), 7 p.m. ... Radford at Pearl City and 'Aiea at Waipahu, both 7 p.m, will help sort out second place. All four teams are 6-2.
  • Boys soccer: St. Joseph plays Kealakehe at Old Airport Park in Kailua-Kona for the Big Island tournament championship, 3 p.m.
  • Girls soccer: OIA Tournament semifinals at Mililani ... On Maui, King Kekaulike has taken over first, but is just two points ahead of Maui (26-24), which it plays host to at 6 p.m. Winner gets 3 points. Baldwin, which has slipped to second with 25 points, plays Seabury Hall. ... Punahou (8-1) can clinch a tie for first place in ILH by beating Pac-Five (3-3-2) at Kapi'olani Park, 4:15 p.m.
  • Softball: 12-team state tournament opens at UH's Rainbow Wahine Stadium.

THURSDAY

  • Softball: Quarterfinals of state tournament at UH's Rainbow Wahine Stadium. No. 1-seeded Kamehameha makes its debut at 8 p.m.

FRIDAY

  • Boys basketball: Waipahu at Mililani, 7 p.m. with OIA West title at stake if Mililani loses and Waipahu wins tomorrow.
  • Boys soccer: Third, fourth and fifth place in OIA will be decided in games at Kailua, 5:15 and 7 p.m.
  • Girls soccer: Depending on Wednesday's results, Maui championship may be decided when four-time defending champion Baldwin plays Maui High at Keopu'olani Park in Wailuku, 7 p.m. ... Kealakehe plays winner of Wednesday's Hawai'i Prep at Hilo game for Big Island tournament championship, site to be determined.
  • Softball: Semifinals of state tournament at UH's Rainbow Wahine Stadium, 6 and 8 p.m.
  • Swimming: OIA Western Division championships at Kalani, 3 p.m.

SATURDAY

  • Boys basketball: Kalaheo and Kaimuki will duke it out possibly for OIA East championship at Kaimuki, 7 p.m. ... In ILH Division II, St. Louis (5-2) plays at Hawai'i Baptist (5-1), 7:30 p.m.
  • Boys soccer: OIA championship game with Tuesday's winners at Pearl City, 5:30 p.m. ... ILH runner-up vs. Maui runner-up for state tournament berth, 2 p.m. at Iolani. ... Regular-season champ Hilo plays the winner of Wednesday's Big Island Tournament championship game between St. Joseph and Kealakehe for the overall title, site to be determined. All three teams have already earned berths in state tournament on Maui.
  • Girls soccer: OIA championship game with Wednesday's winners playing at Pearl City, 7:30 p.m.
  • Softball: State championship game at UH's Rainbow Wahine Stadium, 7 p.m.
  • Swimming: OIA Eastern Division championships at Kalani, diving 9 a.m., swimming 2 p.m.
