Yeager to lead consulting firm

Advertiser Staff

Former Crazy Shirts chief executive Randy Yeager has joined the local retail consulting and leasing firm Retail Strategies Inc. as president and chief executive officer.

Company founder Doug Smoyer, who will continue as chairman and owner, said his goal with hiring Yeager is to expand the 26-year-old business.

"Even in these challenging times many domestic and foreign retailers continue to look positively on our Hawai'i location as a target for expansion," Yeager said.

For 12 years, Yeager headed Crazy Shirts, which was bought in a bankruptcy auction last year. He has also run a $240 million Mainland retailer and is a past chairman of the Retail Merchants of Hawaii trade association.
