Matson shuffles top executives

Matson Navigation Co. Inc. announced a series of management changes yesterday following Chief Operating Officer Raymond Smith's departure after a little more than seven months with the company.

Jim Andrasick, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Matson parent Alexander & Baldwin Inc., will also serve as Matson's interim president and chief executive officer, assuming the positions from C. Bradley Mulholland, who was appointed vice chairman of Matson.

W. Allen Doane, A&B's president and chief executive officer, moves from Matson vice chairman to chairman, replacing Charles Stockholm, who remains chairman of A&B.

Paul Stevens, previously Matson senior vice president of ocean services, has been promoted to executive vice president.
