THOMAS RICHARD BURNER, 63, of 'Ewa Beach, died June 25, 2002. Retired Hawaiian Airlines employee with 35 years of service. Survived by sisters, Jenny See and Ann Liszak; nephews, John and Mike See, Jerry and Ron Liszak; three grandnephews; grandniece. Cremation. Inurnment in Dayton, Ohio, following the family's celebration of life. Arrangements by Moanalua Mortuary.

FLORENCE KAWAILIULA CUDE, 67, of Honolulu, died July 3, 2002. Born in Honolulu. Survived by husband, Larry; son, Punahele Horiuchi; daughters, Cheryl Horiuchi, Tai Schmidt and Michele Kaakimaka; sisters, Victoria Mook, Leianuenue Cabael, JoHanna Major and Carlina Larson; brothers, James and Earl Carinio; nine grandchildren. ROY "LEROY" FERREIRA, 51, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died June 28, 2002. Born in Ka'u, Hawai'i. Member of the Koa Puna Bike Club. Survived by wife, Haunani; sons, Roy Ferreira, Kurt and Kyle Ng; daughters, Roydene, Royann, Kimberly Bigney, Kristie Ng and Mapuana Escritor; sisters, Kathryn Hamilton, Shirley-Mae Jardine, Sheridan Camacho, Mae Yeraeau and Judy Reyes; brother, Ross Flores; 15 grandchildren. Survived by wife, Masako; daughter, Jean Mardfin; son, Craig; brothers, Sunao, Tamotsu "Tom," Mamoru "Skip" and Larry; sister, Masae Honda; three grandchildren. LEONARD "SONNY" KALOLO, 69, of Deep River, Conn., died June 29, 2002. Born in Honolulu. Retired general manager of Ogden Aviation with 22 years of service. Survived by wife, Janet; sons, Jeff and Mike; daughter, Erin Meggett; brother, Spike Makia; five grandchildren; mother, Elizabeth Makia. Mainland service. MELINDA JANE NESTI, 50, of Princeville, Kaua'i, died July 2, 2002. Born in Wisconsin. A volunteer with many associations. Survived by husband, Robert; sons, Robert, Tom, Tony and Sean Hiss; daughters, JoAnn, and Kimberly Karlak; two grandchildren; mother, Kit Campbell; brothers, Joel and Corky Campbell; sister, Kathleen Taylor.
