GERALD "JERRY" ALLAN KARD, 57, of Humble, Texas, formerly of Kane'ohe, died June 30, 2002. Born in Elizabeth, N.J. Retired Northwest Airlines equipment services chief. FRANCIS MITSUJI KUDO, 83, died May 17, 2002, and his wife, HISAKO KOBAYASHI KUDO, 87, died May 19, 2002. They were residents of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Kualapu'u, Moloka'i. He was born in Waipahu and was a retired TRW Corp. electrical engineer and veteran who served in the 100th Infantry Battalion, Company C. She was born in Concord, Calif., and was a homemaker. He is survived by his sister, Florence Iwamoto. She is survived by her sister, Mary Hamasaki. Private service held. Arrangements by Moanalua Mortuary.

NICANOR GAMIO LUNA, 95, of Wailuku, Maui, died June 30, 2002. A retired boiler maker. Survived by sons, Hennessey, James, David and Ivan; daughter, Velma Nakamoto; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. MATSUYO MATSUOKA, 105, of Wahiawa, died June 21, 1001. Born in Fukuoka Japan. Member of Wahiawa Hongwanji.
