Meal time easy to tell
I'm trying to teach my 5- and 6-year-old sons how to tell time, but my teen son gets tired of hearing it.
"When the little hand is on the three and the big hand is on the 12, what time is it?" I asked.
"Three o'clock," the kids said.
"When the little hand is on the six and the big hand is on the 12, what time is it?"
"Six o'clock."
Then my teen chimed in sarcastically, "And when your hand is on the dinner bell, it's time to eat."
