DR. WALTER BROWN QUISENBERRY, former state Department of Health director and well-known figure in the public health sector, died Saturday of osteoporosis. He was 90. See story.

FRANCIS MITSUJI KUDO, 83, died May 17, 2001, and his wife, HISAKO KOBAYASHI KUDO, 87, died May 19, 2002. They were residents of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Kualapu'u, Moloka'i. He was born in Waipahu and was a retired TRW Corp. electrical engineer and veteran who served in the 100th Infantry Battalion, Company C. She was born in Concord, Calif., and was a homemaker.
