Takitani award winners

Farrington 2002 recipients

The Farrington Alumni and Community Foundation presented 20 scholarships to the following Class of 2002 students:

McDonald's recipients

Recipients of 2002 Mcdonald's Restaurants of Hawai'i Employee Scholarships are: Cyrus Tumbaga, Jennifer Tambio and Beverly Mangayayam, all of Waimea High; Rodmann Elegino, Maui High, Sean Donohoe, Mililani High, Maile Sandoval, Sacred Hearts Academy, Reed Tanaka, Iolani School, Lene Manutai, Kahuku High, Lance Eberhart and Michael Gurat, both of Kamehameha Schools. April Medeiros, Hilo High, received a scholarship from McDonald's Corporation.


All-American scholar

Liane Alves has been named an All-American Scholar by the U.S. Achievement Academy.

She is the granddaughter of Goichi and Takie Toyooka of Pearl City.
