THE LEFT LANE
Delete your ex

Just when you thought you had gotten rid of everything that reminded of you of your ex, you see it: the photo of the two of you together. Well, one Las Vegas-based company has a solution.

PhotoMasterpieces, which digitally enhances photos to resemble oil paintings, is offering a "Divorce Special." The company will remove your ex and fill in the background, so you can keep your photos without keeping him or her in them. The special is geared toward divorced women who want to salvage their wedding photos. The ex is removed and replaced with floral designs, angels, artwork, even an image of your new beau. View samples at www.photomasterpieces.com. Average cost: $149 to $315, depending on size. Information: (888) 443-8547.

Go-Go's at it again

ABC will chronicle the quick rise and fall of the '80s band, the Go-Go's, one of the most successful all-female bands to emerge at the height of the punk era in the late 1970s. Their album, "Beauty and the Beat," was ranked No. 1 on the Billboard top 100 album list in 1981. But within three years they had disbanded.

Bandmates Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine and Gina Schock were frequently linked to risque parties and reports of drug abuse, including heroin use, during the early '80s. Despite a lackluster response to the group's comeback last year, producer Steve Taylor considers their story good fodder for TV. "They were five girls with a dream and willing to sacrifice everything to make that dream happen," Taylor said. "That's relatable and inspirational. The great thing about these women is that they're flawed but they had the courage to put everything aside and get back together."

Smells like summer

Sunscreen, ocean spray, hot dogs on a hibachi. Scents of summer — but not the kind you want to wear. This summer scents are fruity: an explosion of tangerines, peaches and strawberries.

According to market research group NPD BeautyTrends, fruit-scented perfumes, cleansers and moisturizers are hot this summer, targeting younger consumers. Some to try: Versus — Time For Pleasure by Versace (peach, strawberry, blackberry, apricot), Tommy Girl Summer Cologne by Tommy Hilfiger (peach, apple) and Sexy Graffiti by Escada (wild strawberry, raspberry, black current). At Sephora.com and most department stores.
