• The Honolulu Boy Choir announces open auditions for boys aged 7-12 for participation in their performances, directed by Kala'i Stern. Auditions held Saturday, by appointment only; membership in the choir is free. 596-7464.
• The Honolulu Symphony Chorus seeks experienced choral singers for all vocal parts for the 2002-2003 season. Rehearsals are 7-9:30 p.m. each Monday, Choral Rehearsal Room, UH-Manoa Music Department. 533-6329.

• MS. Plus Hawaii Pageant seeks contestants for Ms. Plus Hawaii 2002. Must be 24 years or older and size 16 or larger. Pageant held Aug. 24. Deadline for application is Saturday. 585-8116, 596-8136.
• Island Beauty Productions seeks female contestants ages 13-17 for Miss Teen Hawaiian Islands and ages 18-26 for Miss Hawaiian Islands. Winner will continue to the Miss South Pacific pageant held in October on Roratonga, Cook Islands. Deadline is Sunday. 671-2429.
