Tonight's Must-See
"Live From Lincoln Center," 8 p.m., PBS. For 11 years, Kurt Masur has led the New York Philharmonic. Now, on his 75th birthday, he gives his final concert as music director. Beverly Sills hosts. Of Note
"Speed" (1994), 2 and 4:10 p.m., AMC. Here are two more chances to see a terrific adventure. If a bus slows below 50 mph, it will blow up. Two resourceful heroes (Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock) save the day. As Reeves himself might say, "Whoa!"
"The Phantom" (1996), 7 p.m., ABC. Billy Zane stars as the comic-strip hero fighting bad guys. The nastiest of them is a mogul played by Treat Williams. When his man kidnaps a reporter (Kristy Swanson), the Phantom is needed.
"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. This rerun includes the search for a girl who was kidnapped years earlier. In another case, a man was apparently killed while robbing a store.
"Wide Angle," 10 p.m., PBS. For generations, China worked toward an egalitarian society with no one wealthy or starving. Now, this report tells us, things are different. China has a growing monied class with gated communities, tennis courts and private schools. It also adds 20 million more people to its unemployment lists each year.
"Just Shoot Me," 8:30 p.m., NBC. This rerun has Joe Rogan as Maya's handsome but mismatched boyfriend. In a nod to the fact that Rogan hosts "Fear Factor," Finch and Elliott scheme to get Kevin to eat gross things.
"The Agency," 9 p.m., CBS. When a New Jersey couple is killed, investigators discover a secret life, complete with bomb shelter.
