Aug. 1 — Wally Yonamine Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament. At Pearl Country Club. 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Limited to 72 teams (three people per team.) Fee: $375 per team (or $125 per person.) Banquet to follow. Information: Dean Yonamine 678-8867.

Aug. 3-4 — 48th annual Maui Women's Golf Invitational. At Pukalani and Maui country clubs. 7 a.m. shotgun start. Limited to first 80 entries. Open to female golfers 18 and older with slope index for July of 33.5 or less. Information: Wilma Vorfeld 244-4195 or Dot Tam Ho 877-5433.
