Pit bulls attack, hurt Maui boy, 2

PUKALANI, Maui A young child was injured by two pit bulls today at his baby-sitter's home in Pukalani.The 2-year-old boy was playing with a 6-month-old puppy around 8:30 a.m. when an adult dog attacked, and the child was caught in the fray, paramedics said.
The boy suffered bite wounds on his face and head that were going to require stitches. He was taken by ambulance to Maui Memorial Medical Center.
The dog's owners voluntarily had the adult pit bull destroyed, officials said.
