Investor nearing buyout of Aquasearch

A Mainland investor has completed plans to buy Kailua-Kona research firm Aquasearch, the final step in a plan to rescue the company from Bankruptcy Court.Aquasearch has merged into Mera Pharmaceuticals Inc., a company of which Richard Propper is chairman of the board. Propper is a California investor who gave Aquasearch emergency financing after the company was forced into Bankruptcy Court last fall.
Aquasearch stock is now trading as Mera stock on the over-the-counter bulletin board, under the ticker symbol MRPI.OB.
