Because of a reporter's error, a Page One story last Saturday erroneously reported that Daniel Dick, who died at Halona Blowhole on June 30, did not heed warning signs. According to news accounts, Dick and a friend apparently approached the blowhole from Sandy Beach and may not have seen the warning sign at the lookout above the blowhole.
Kahala Moon is not performing Wednesdays at The Willows. A listing on Page E4 Wednesday was incorrect.
Red Hot Chili Peppers is performing Wednesday at Blaisdell Arena. An item on Page E1 Thursday gave an incorrect date because of an editor's error. For tickets to the concert, call 526-4400. A telephone number on Page 14 of yesterday's TGIF was wrong because of a reporter's error.
A state law that restricts the display of political campaign signs or yard signs to 45 days before and 10 days after an election was declared unconstitutional in a 1996 opinion by the state attorney general. A letter to the editor on Thursday was incorrect in stating that the law is still in effect and that candidates who have their yard signs posted are breaking the law.
