AMBROSE A. WAI SUM CHUN, 79, died July 25, 2002. Born in Honolulu. Former art director and member of an advance team for Lockheed Missiles and Space, and an avid sports fisherman. TONOSE HIRATA, 108, of Honolulu, died July 7, 2002. Born in Fukuoka, Japan. Survived by sons, Harry and Jesse; daughters, Mirian Iyamatsu, Betsy Matsumoto, Jane Matsumoto, and Judy Sakai; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren. EDWINA O'BRIAN LEINANI KAAPANA, 89, of Honolulu, died July 25, 2002. Born in Honolulu. Retired school teacher.
