Tonight's Must-See

"Minute by Minute," 7 and 11 p.m., A&E. For eight months of each year, the South Pole is so frigid that planes can't land there. So a doctor conducting research alone there had to treat herself when she discovered she had breast cancer. More than 40 people worked frantically to rescue her — even the military air dropped equipment for a biopsy and chemo-therapy. This true story of Dr. Jerri Nielsen and her medical battle is a rich human portrait, told first-person by people whom viewers will like instantly.

Of Note

"Enterprise," 8 p.m., UPN. In this rerun, the survey team finds a planet that looks a lot like Earth.
