United to begin Kona-S.F. flight

United Airlines will began its second daily flight between Kona on the Big Island and San Francisco today, the company said. The new flight using a Boeing 757 will have 182 passenger seats.Flight 36 will depart from Kona at 10 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 5:50 a.m. the following morning. Flight 37 will depart from San Francisco at 4:40 p.m. land arrive in Kona at 6:56 p.m. In addition to the two flights linking Kona with San Francisco, United also offers two flights between Kona and Los Angeles, another United hub.
