Hawaiian starts new California flights

Hawaiian Airlines planned to meet passengers in Honolulu with leis, Hawaiian music and hula today when they got off the airline's inaugural flights from Sacramento and Ontario, Calif.Hawaiian announced the start of the two new nonstop daily flights from the two California cities in March shortly after the break-up of Hawaiian's proposed merger with Aloha Airlines.
Hawaiian is also planning a new daily service between Honolulu and Phoenix to begin in October.
