Reality TV spoof wins at festival

"The Wedding Video,"a spoof on reality television, has been named the big winner at the 13th Annual Adam Baran Honolulu Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

The video by Norm Korpi won the Adam Baran Best Film or Video Award and the Audience Award for Best Film or Video.

"Ke Kulana He Mahu," by Kathryn Xian and Brent Anbe, won the Phred Love Award for Best Local Film or Video. "Sinalela" by Dan Taulapapa McMullin won the Rainbow Award for Best Short Film.

The May 30-June 2 festival and exhibit showcased 20 features, documentaries and shorts at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.ÊThe festival also screens films during the year.
