Book club first pick

Attention, booklovers: The Honolulu Advertiser Book Club has been inaugurated, and we've chosen a first book, "American Fuji" (Berkley, 2001; $14 in paperback). Find books editor Wanda Adams' interview with author Sara Backer and our guidelines for participation online at http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/current/il/bookclub.

Copies of "American Fuji" have been selling fast, so it's best to inquire ahead at your favorite bookstore about availability. Books also can be ordered online. Note that while certain bookstores may offer discounts on "American Fuji" to The Honolulu Advertiser Book Club readers, they are not offered at all stores.
