Tonight's Must-Sees

"Saturday Night Live," 10:30 p.m., NBC. Two remarkable talents show up in this rerun. Host Jon Stewart's own show ("The Daily Show" on Comedy Central) is one of the best things on cable. The singer is the wonderful India.Arie.

"Stranded," 6 p.m., Hallmark Channel; concludes tomorrow. For almost two centuries, "Swiss Family Robinson" has stirred souls. There were two movies and a TV series. Now the folks from Hallmark have gone back to the original novel for a richly filmed miniseries. This is a dark adventure. The brooding patriarch (Liam Cunningham) refuses to declare allegiance to England. When he's exiled, his wife (Brana Brajic) goes along, bringing their four children. Gradually, he lightens up, as does the story.
