Dragon boats blessed for festival

Master I Jiao from the Buddha Light Association blesses one of three dragon boats next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach in preparation for the 7th Annual AT&T Hawaii Dragon Boat Festival. After yesterday's blessing, the boats were launched. The festival will be Aug. 3-4, and will feature dragon boat races off Ala Moana Beach Park, live entertainment, children's activities, and food and craft booths.
