Pearl Harbor work awarded

The Navy has awarded two construction contracts totaling $27,023,000 for projects in the Pearl Harbor complex.

Dick Pacific Construction Co. Ltd. of Honolulu, was awarded a $13,482,000 contract for the design and construction of 56 modules of permanent bachelor enlisted quarters, as well as administrative and support spaces at Pearl Harbor Naval Station. The project includes the demolition of Smedley Hall. Work is expected to be finished by April 2004.

Hunt Building Corporation of Texas was awarded a $13,541,000 contract for design and replacement of 70 family housing units at Hale Moku Phase V to Radford Terrace. The project should be completed by June 2004.
