Tripler getting new commander

Tripler Army Medical Center will change its command today at 10 a.m.

Brig. Gen. Joseph G. Webb Jr. will replace Maj. Gen. Nancy R. Adams as commanding general of Tripler Army Medical Center/Commander, Pacific Regional Medical Command/United States Army Pacific surgeon and lead agent, TRICARE Pacific.

Retiring after 34 years of service in the Army, Adams has been Tripler's Commanding General since March 1998.

Before his Tripler appointment, Webb served as assistant surgeon general for Force Development and Sustainment.
