And now we bring you the final news of the week

You cannot escape the idea that the rest of the country thinks that Hawai'i's favorite canned meat is somehow, well, funny. How else to explain all the attention focused on the official grand opening of the national Spam Museum last week in Austin, Minn.? Well, we just don't get the joke.

After all, anyone in his right mind would take a nice fresh Spam musubi over that Minnesota speciality lutefisk (dried cod soaked in lye to the uninitiated) any day of the week.
