Not in it for the money

The latest financial reports are out on members of Congress, and the story for Hawai'i's delegation is tellingly modest.

Now, don't weep for Sens. Dan Akaka and Dan Inouye and Reps. Patsy Mink and Neil Abercrombie.

They are more than comfortable.

But they're far from the financial perch they might occupy if they applied their considerable talents in the private sector.
