"'70s soul jam," 7 p.m., KHET. featurining The Stylistics, The Delfonics, Cuba Gooding Sr. and The Main Ingredient, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes and The Dramatics. Concert promoter Tom Moffatt will be in KHET's studios to offer concert packages to the '70s Soul Jam's Honolulu date, July 23. . Proceeds go to Hawai'i Public Television.

Of Note

"Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" (1985, 2:30 p.m.) and "Waterworld" (1995, 5 p.m.), both Sci Fi Channel. The first post-apocalyptic movie, starring Mel Gibson and Tina Turner, is intelligent and exciting. The second, starring Kevin Costner, is long and wet.
