'Secret Squad' run is extended

Kumu Kahua has extended the run of its Lee Cataluna comedy, "Super Secret Squad," because the scheduled shows were sold out.
Remaining additional performances are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, July 5 and 6, and 2 p.m. June 30 and July 7.
Tickets: $16 for adults, $13 for seniors and groups of 10 or more, and $10 for students for Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows; $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and unemployed, $5 for students for Thursday shows.

Kawaiaha'o sets 'Grand Old Flag'
Kawaiaha'o Church will present a Fourth of July celebration, "That Grand Old Flag," at 4 p.m. Sunday in the church.
Performers include the Kawaiaha'o Church Choir, the Hawai'i Ecumenical Chorale and the Royal Hawaiian Band. Besides flag-waving tunes, the program will include folksongs and spirituals.
Admission is free.

Simplisity tops Ala Moana's 4th
Simplisity will perform at the Ala Moana Hotel's Fourth of July celebration, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 4, poolside at the hotel's Ginger Terrace. The event features an all-American barbecue menu.

DHT completes 'Somebody' cast
Daren Kimura will play Bobby Lusa, completing the cast for Diamond Head Theatre's musical comedy, "You Somebody," opening July 19.
The Lee Cataluna musical features songs and lyrics by Keola Beamer, and will conclude the current DHT season, running through Aug. 11.
Loretta Ables Sayre is "Ma" Pua Lusa; Zhan Hunt is Lisa Lusa; Ray Bumatai is Mr. Lusa; U'ilani Kapuaakuni is Trina Lusa; and Eric Manke is Little Joe Lusa.
The show revolves around the Lusa family and its quest to "be somebody" by getting into the public eye and the gossip columns.
