Hickam on war-game status

Training exercises are being conducted this week at Hickam Air Force Base and people can expect delays as they attempt to enter the base.

The 15th Air Base Wing is holding "war-time mission" exercises, according to a Hickam press release. Details of the training were not announced, but the release said people going to the base may encounter delays.

Last night, the main gate to the base was closed, but a Hickam spokeswoman would not provide details.
