'Today's Thought' finally arrives

Fans of the late Rev. Paul S. Osumi will have to hang on just a few days longer to buy a new book that compiles his columns, "Today's Thought, Vol. 1" ($5.95, Mutual Publishing).

For more than three decades, the Rev. Paul S. Osumi's "Today's Thought" column had been a fixture in The Advertiser.

Mutual Publishing had initially announced that a collection of Osumi's columns would be in stores earlier this month — information that appeared in a story in the Island Life section on Friday. However, the shipment was held up in Asia, said Blair Collis, sales and marketing manager at Mutual.

The books finally have arrived and should be in O'ahu stores by Friday, and in Neighbor Island stores by July 5, Collis said.
