Fiji, the Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning island entertainer, is filming a music video today for "I Like," one of the tracks off his new "Transition" CD.

The footage is being shot at the Blue Tropix club on Kapi'olani, under the supervision of Curtis Fuqua, 22-year-old brother of movie director Antoine Fuqua, who is following his older brother's footsteps.

The video also features Brandy Ledford, who played Dawn Masterson on "Baywatch."

The younger Fuqua is making his video directorial debut; he worked with his older brother on "Training Day," the film that won Denzel Washington a best-actor Oscar.

Antoine Fuqua is in town directing an untitled Bruce Willis wartime drama.

The elder Fuqua also had a career in music video, working with such artists as Arrested Development, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Toni Braxton and Heavy D & the Boyz (earning a nomination for MTV's Best Rap Video) before launching a film career directing "The Replacement Killers."

Fiji won a Hoku in 1998 as male vocalist of the year and also was named favorite entertainer of the year in public balloting.
