Weddings

Dionne Keialani Stephany Aiu, daughter of R. Harry Aiu of Honolulu and Judy Colbert of California, and Kevin Masao Higa, son of Melvin M. Higa of Rowland Heights, Calif., and Katherine Kupuka'a of Mililani, were married May 4 at Unity Church of Hawaii. The reception followed at the Renaissance Ilikai Hotel. The bride (Kaimuki High, University of Hawai'i-Manoa bachelor's), now Dionne K.S.A. Higa, formerly of Kapahulu, has a son, Brenden Ka'eo Aiu, 10. The groom (Mililani High, UH-Manoa bachelor's), formerly of Mililani, is a state employee. They live in Honolulu.

Melody K.M Matsushima, daughter of Lawrence and Stephany Matsushima of Ma'ili, and Luynard K. Ka'alouahi, son of Luynard and Sheila Ka'alouahi of 'Ewa Beach, were married May 25 at St. Rita's Catholic Church. The reception followed at the Makaha Resort. The bride (1997 Kamehameha Schools), now Melody K.M. Ka'alouahi, and the groom (1997 Damien High), live in Wai'anae.
