Weddings

Catherine Failma Castillo, daughter of Hernando and Josephine Castillo of Kapolei, and Dean Shin Kuniyoshi, son of Leslie Kuniyoshi of Honolulu and Nora Davis of Waynesboro, Pa., were married Jan. 5 at the Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa. The reception followed at the resort. The bride (1997 Campbell High and 1998 Med-Assist School of Hawai'i certificate), now Catherine Castillo Kuniyoshi, is a medical assistant. The groom (1994 Campbell High), formerly of Honolulu, is a stock clerk. They live in Kapolei.

Diane Haruko Yasue, daughter of Glen Yasue of Honolulu and the late Alice Yasue, and Brian Kawika Morton, son of James Morton of Kona and Eilene Morton of Kona, were married Jan. 5 at Moku'aikaua Church in Kailua-Kona. The reception followed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The bride (1994 Kaiser High and 1998 University of Oregon bachelor's), now Diane H. Morton, formerly of Hawai'i Kai, is a graduate student at Mount St. Mary's College. The groom (1995 Konawaena High), formerly of Kailua-Kona, is a network engineer and student at University of Redlands. They live in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Engagements

Leslie and Cheryl Mitsuka of Honolulu have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lisa-Anne Mitsuka, to Allen Chan, son of Fernando and Kwok Yee Chan of Honolulu. Lisa-Anne Mitsuka, of Honolulu, and Allen Chan, of Diamond Bar, Calif., formerly of Honolulu, plan to marry June 9 in Honolulu.

Neysa Park and Chris Kanemura have announced their engagement. Park, of Honolulu, is a manager of corporate accounting. Kanemura, of Honolulu, is a webmaster. They plan to marry in July in Kahala.
