The Wayne Brown Institute will hold a seminar Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Pacific Tower to help entrepreneurs prepare for the fourth annual Investors Choice International Equity Capital Conference on Maui in June.

Companies selected to participate are mentored and trained to make 10-minute presentations before a group of venture capitalists.

The seminar will include software to help entrepreneurs evaluate their business plans and prepare presentations. It is sponsored by the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Hawaii Strategic Development Corp. with Hawaii Venture Capital Association (HVCA) and Hawaii Trade and Technology Association (HTTA) and HEI.

Cost is $35; $25 for members of HTTA and HVCA. Attendance is limited. Register at www.venturecapital.org /seminars.
