Hilo Hattie sells sewing division

The sale will close April 30 or later, Hilo Hattie said. DeVille said the sale will reduce Hilo Hattie's total work force to about 470 employees from 540.

DeVille said Hilo Hattie will maintain quality control and will still do its own design, sourcing of fabric and cutting.
