Heavy rains hit Central O'ahu

The National Weather Service canceled a flash flood warning for Central O'ahu this afternoon after heavy rains caused traffic slow downs during rush hour.Thunderstorms soaked Mililani, Wahiawa and Wheeler Field communities during mid-afternoon.
The flash flood warning, posted at 3:10 p.m. was canceled at 5 p.m.
Showers were expected to move to the northern-most part of the island near Kahuku later this afternoon, but all rains are expected to end after sundown, the weather service said..
