Tonight's Must-See
"Leap of Faith," 7:30 p.m., NBC. After last week's terrific opener, here is another wonderful episode. When we last saw sweet Faith (Sarah Paulson), she had broken off her engagement after a fling with a handsome actor (Brad Rowe). Now her friend (Regina King) is in charge of returning wedding gifts while Faith's mom (Jill Clayburgh) clings to hope and the wedding dress. Meanwhile, Faith finds that her lust for the actor persists.
Of Note
"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. Troubled relations abound. The rejected Joey avoids Rachel. The dumped Ross tries to retrieve his favorite shirt from Mona. And Phoebe uses tea leaves to find her dream man.
"Survivor: Marquesas," 7 p.m., CBS. Last week, we met the 16 survivors on a gorgeous Pacific island. Tonight, the second one is ousted.
"On Golden Pond" (1981), 3 p.m. & 9:30 p.m., AMC. Ernest Thompson's script about an elderly couple is sometimes funny and sometimes maudlin. Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda both won Academy Awards, but their understated work made the movie so involving.
"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. Now that they have a fancy new apartment, Will and Grace miss the old one. Suzanne Pleshette guest stars as Karen's scheming mom.
"Horatio Hornblower: The Fire Ships" (1999), 7 p.m. & 11 p.m., A&E. The young officer finds himself with big problems, including a hungry crew.
"Tough Enough 2," 7 p.m. & 8 p.m., MTV. First is a rerun of the opener, with 250 people trying for a shot as a pro wrestler. In the next episode, the final 13 begin training.
