March 8 — Deadline for the 22nd Annual "Par for the Priory" Golf Tournament to be held March 25. Shotgun start, 12:30 p.m. at Mamala Bay Golf Course, Hickam AFB. Check-in at 10:30 a.m. Format: three-person modified scramble. Entry fee: $125 per player. Deadline: March 14. Information: Linda Matsumoto at St. Andrew's Priory 532-2401.

March 14 — Deadline for the Ninth Guinea Kop Memorial Tournament to be held March 27. Shotgun start, 12:20 p.m. at Pearl Country Club. Benefit for O'ahu Junior Golf Association. Sponsors also wanted. Format: three-person scramble. Entry fee: $425 team ($260 tax deductible). Deadline: March 14. Information: 952-OJGA.

March 20 — Deadline for March 25 David Leadbetter Clinic; 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Waialae Country Club. Directed by Gary Gilchrist, director of the David Leadbetter Junior Golf Academy, and Gilda Hawie. Fee: $100, includes lunch. Information: Aloha Section PGA office, telephone 593-2230.

March 29 — Deadline for Na Hoaloha O McKinley Tournament to be held April 20. Shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. at Leilehua Golf Course. Benefit for McKinley High School athletics. Photo ID required at Leilehua. Sponsors also wanted. Format: three-person scramble. Entry fee: $110 per player, $330 team. Deadline: March 29. Information: Neal Takamori, 594-0418.

April 1 — Deadline for 14th Annual "City Bank Helps Maui" Golf Tournament to be held April 21. At Makena Course, North Course. Shotgun start at 6:45 a.m., check-in at 5:45 a.m. Format: Two-person scramble. Entry fee: $135. Tournament limited to first 98 teams (196 golfers). Information: Lisa Cervantes, 242-2787 ext. 236.

Po'ipu Bay Golf Course Golf Promotions. Prepaid Golf Package: Available to golfers who want to pre-purchase packages of five or 10 rounds of golf. Five-round: $550; 10-round: $1,000. Additional savings offered to guests staying at Hyatt Regency Kaua'i Resort and Spa. "Second-round rate": $95 for golfers who want to play a second round at the course within seven days of their first round, between times of 11 a.m-noon and 2-3 p.m. Standard fee is $185. "Weekly mini-tournament": 18-holes, limited to 24 players, takes place every Friday or Saturday, with tee times beginning at 11 a.m. Fee: $100.
