Advertiser Staff

The Hawaiian Islanders, Hawai'i's new arena2 football league team, will unveil their new playing field and announce their coaching staff tomorrow at the Blaisdell Arena.

The event, which lasts from 6 to 10 p.m., is open to the public and offers 100 mini footballs to the first 100 people, as well as a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. Admission is free.

"It will be terrific to see these players step on their own home field for the first time," Islanders coach Guy Benjamin said.

The Islanders will begin their 16-game regular season March 30 against the Fresno Frenzy at the Blaisdell Arena.
