This handsome cat is oh-so-soft and cuddly. He has an artistic coat of black-and-white splotches composed of silky short hairs topped with longer wispy hairs. His tail is a symphony of black fluff. A young adult, Ralph is living happily with other cats now in the Cat House so he'll be a good feline roommate. Come and meet this lean, lanky charmer.

Katrina

This sassy 3-year-old is a mix of heeler and probably some shepherd, too. Katrina is a medium-sized dog with a rusty-brown coat with white, freckly spots. She is energetic and also quite smart. During her behavior training at the humane society, she has learned to sit and lie down when asked, and to walk nicely on a leash. Katrina will add great fun and a lot of love to her new family.

The Hawaiian Humane Society & McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m., Mondays through Fridays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends. The incoming-animals area never closes.
