• In commenting on the proposed tax to pay for long-term care, Senate Minority Floor Leader Fred Hemmings said: "The fine print includes the fact that you've got to be in the plan for 10 years before you get full benefits." Because of a reporter's error, a Local News story posted yesterday was incorrect.

• The Academy Awards program will be broadcast in Hawai'i at 6 p.m. March 24 on ABC. An incorrect time was given in an Island Life story posted yesterday because of an editor's error.
