All-America pitcher Shane Komine struck out 14 and allowed three hits in eight innings to help No. 11 Nebraska over No. 13 Texas A & M, 6-4, yesterday in Big 12 baseball at Lincoln, Neb.

Komine (4-0), a 1998 graduate of Kalani High, won his 15th consecutive decision dating to March of last season. The only run the right-hander allowed was unearned. He got into a bases-loaded jam in the sixth, but ended the threat by picking a runner off second.

The 14 strikeouts tied his season-high he had last month against McNeese State. It was his 20th 10-or-more strikeout performance in the senior's career at NU (9-5, 2-2 Big 12).
