NEW YORK — Brian Viloria, an undefeated flyweight from Waipahu, extended his winning streak to six by stopping Leonardo Gutierrez of Mexico at 1:14 of the fourth round of a scheduled six-round bout last night.

Viloria, 113 pounds, scored three knockdowns in registering his fourth knockout.

The third came on a short left hook to the body of Gutierrez, 114, less than a minute after a left to the head sent him down for a nine-count. Referee Pete Santiago stopped the fight without any count this time.

Viloria, 21, used an over-the-top right to the head for an eight-count knockdown with 34 seconds remaining in the third round.

Gutierrez, knocked out for the 11th time in his career, dropped to 23-27.

Later, Golden Johnson knocked out Chantel Stanciel at 2:24 of the 11th round of a 12th-round fight, to retain the NABF welterweight title.
