When the Iolani School Division II boys basketball team needed inside scoring, it looked to senior forward Ryan Kilborn.
When the situation called for an outside shot or big rebound, the Raiders looked for ... Kilborn.
"He was our go-to guy," Iolani coach Neil Tamabayashi said.
Kilborn, 5 feet 11 and 210 pounds, averaged 17 points and seven rebounds per game en route to winning Player of the Year honors in a vote of league coaches. He scored a season-high 27 against Kamehameha, the ILH Division II champion.
Kilborn was joined on the league's All-Star first team by St. Louis senior guard Kainoa Fernandez, Hawai'i Baptist senior guard Ryan Hee, Lutheran senior guard David Lehmann, Kamehameha senior forward James Easley and Lanakila Baptist senior forward Alika Durington.
Kamehameha's Mark Lovelace was named Coach of the Year.
