Mortuary owners released

HILO, Hawai'i ­ Three members of the Diego family that operates two Big Island mortuaries were released without charges this morning after being held for more than 24 hours after their arrest on second-degree theft charges.

Robert R. Diego, 59; his business partner, Momi Diego, 59; and their daughter, B.J. Diego, 32, were held at the Hilo police station cellblock from Wednesday morning until their release today.
